Kelsey Collins

Kelsey Collins is an acclaimed author, elder advocate and vivacious speaker acknowledged by her peers for her expertise in elder care and her life’s work towards redefining the caregiver-caregivee experience. Kelsey is regularly invited to speak to caregivers and their institutions at local and national conferences, exploring issues facing aging populations, the implications for healthcare systems and service providers, and the changing roles and responsibilities of family caregivers. Through her speaking and writing, Kelsey’s book, Exit Strategy | Leaving this Life with Grace and Gratitude, is now in its fully revised second edition, Kelsey’s “no holds barred” manner forces us to recognize we are not only all in this together, but we are also all going to exit at some point, and perhaps our own exit strategies will help to live each day we have here more fully, genuinely and lovingly.

Near her Sisters, Oregon home, Kelsey speaks regularly at the Spiritual Awareness Center at the Old Stone Church in Bend, Oregon on a series entitled “What are We Waiting For?” and at Wholistic Compass Workshops with Partners in Care in Bend on coping with and overcoming illness and life changes.
